Nordisk makes since decades bad constructed stuff.
And FR just copied the Hilleberg tents in a lower quality with a few additional weak points.
I prefere to hike just with bivvy bag and military poncho.
The tent I use the most is the cheapest Decathlon 2 men tent.
That's usually good enough, especially if one carries bivvy bag, poncho and ultra cheap tent, because that's redundant.
Should the tent break it doesn't matter.
I can throw it into the next dust bin and continue my way. Even the bivvy bag alone is alpine equipment. The military bivvy-poncho is redundant ones more.
I am the last who would tell people that they need a tent.
But if I am asked to recommend a tunnel or Igloo tent for mountain use the only answer I give is: Hilleberg, and nothing else!
