Hiking with my youngest.

Took Alayna up to the Rainbow Lake area to get her out of the house for a while. We only walked couple of miles but it was fun.

The colors are really showing now

She seemed to like taking the lead

She apparently likes the bridges too..., kept running back and forth across them lol

and studying things like springy saplings

She found a rock that caught her interest

She carried this hickory nut for two miles

She likes to clown around

found this old stump

Definitely a squirrel around here somewhere

I love the leaves on these trees this time of year

Well of course I could see that it was special alright..., but, not as special as that hickory nut she carried for two miles Thanks for the comments, I think it's beautiful up there...lol, everytime I'm there alone I consider not going home untill aomeone comes looking for me
