Grew up near the Loreley, spend my youth in the forests and vineyards, later abroad (mostly China, hence the name)
Eventually I found out that most of what we did and learned as kids, is now called Bushcraft.
I am a fan of collecting edible plants and healing herbs, tracking with with my daughters on my own piece of "wilderness", where I grew up and now know every name of the Mice family in the left corner of the 3rd elderberry from right behind the treehouse...
Love MYOG, woodcraft, playing around with gear ideas to give me more options outdoors and cutting down on sophisticated stuff.
