So moved to France 8 years ago work related and had a resent move in France and I'm able to start getting g back in to my bush craft, iv just ordered up some kit Axe and cooking gear so I won't starve lol but will be good to pick up tips and tricks, and possibly meet up for bush crafting weekends

Welcome. I find my French friends have bushcraft skills which they regard as normal, everyday skills. Combination of military service and a tradition of foraging and hunting, I guess.
