Folks, i know in most boards it's a big no no to create the obligatorily "Hi I'm here" mail, but since this seems to be a very "grown up" and well moderated board I do the obvious and write a quick Introduction.
Hi my name is Nico (nobody calls me Nicolas) I'm 33 years old, German, living in Ireland Dublin.
Hobbies are Hiking and (well of course) Bushcraft, Bodybuilding/Power lifting.
I'm a qualified zookeeper and therefore especially love the aspect of "finding" and spotting animals in the wild and to observe them for as long as possible.
I have been pretty much interested in bushcrafting since i saw my first Ray Mears program (who hasn't).
I would call myself a novice but fairly comfortable in the wild.
I try to spend as much time as possible in the Wicklow mountains to practice the art of living with nature in peace and harmony, and go on regular hiking trips with my latvian wife.
This is a good board and I hope I can stay here for a long time to come.
