Hi everyone I'm from stoke hope your all well I cant wait to start foraging as I'm new to all this is there anyone who can give me any pointers

Hi Misty's Mum; welcome to the forum :)

There are loads of people on here with very valuable information on foraging etc. However, I really recommend finding someone knowledgeable local to you that can take you out into the field. One suitable source may be your local Field Society - our local one runs a number of plant, fungus and wildlife (free) training days. OK, they've not been running this last year but they are just starting up again.

Alternatively, there are a lot of good books on the subject and between us all I'm sure we could come up with quite a list!

Above all, concentrate on what's around your local patch; it's very easy to get bogged down if you try to cover everything in one go.

Hello and welcome. Nice to see another female on the forum. Foraging is one of my things too.
Spring is a perfect time to start learning what is out there in your patch to forage.
Tip
I keep a notebook that I record the date and location of any finds. Its easy to forget if you don't keep a record untill you realy know your area well.

Welcome. I remember the day I stopped being an individual and started to be referred to as simply "Ethan's Dad"...
