Hi all,
Just found the forum and thought I should introduce myself. I'm Pete, and live down in Surrey with my family (Wife, 3 kids, 2 dogs). We all love our outdoors, walking and woodland camping in particular. I've enjoyed the outdoors my whole life, and my boys and I have been hanging hammocks and sleeping out in some woods that we have access to around our village for the last couple of years. The boys are getting increasingly keen to get more hands on, as is their little sister, so I'm starting to look at broadening my knowledge and encouraging them to do the same. I have acquired a couple of axes and fieldcraft knives and my eldest and I are off on our first green wood carving course in two weeks.
Really looking forward to being a part of the community here.
