Hi everyone. New to wild camping and wanting to know if there are any areas near me - Merseyside - that are great for camping and just for us to get a feel of it. Unsure where we can go legally etc. is there anywhere near hills etc near myself that anyone has visited ?

There are various conversations on this forum about wild camping and the legality of doing it. Have a search and a read through some of the threads. If you have difficulty finding any, come back and we'll point you to some.

People don't tend to publish where they have been to be honest (as, in reality, it's trespass unless you have permission).
