I am going to have ago at making a knife, I have a blade which the Tang is pointed.
I am looking for a easy to follow tutorial ie online vid etc.

The knife is for my son and he wanted the handle made of bone, but I have never carved bone before and would I be right that the blade would have to be heated to fix to the bone

I cant get a tutorial for you at the moment as I am at work and barred from knife sites.

You should not heat the blade as you will ruin the Heat Treatment. You also should not heat the tang (the pointy bit) unless you really know what you are doing.

Drill out the handle material and glue with epoxy in place. File and sand the handle shape.
If nobody post a link soon I will but look on british blades for a Scandi tutorial and at Brisa th one on here is missing its photos.
