Help ! Hard case needed

I am looking for an abs or similar hard case for my bushcraft fishing kit . It is currently stored in the case it came in which is floppy and gives no protection when in my pack .
The case required is around 18" long 7 or 8" wide and 4" deep . Any info on the whereabouts of said case will be greatfully received .

I have looked in some of my saved webshops however can't come up with anything that sort of size. Maybe a clip lock box? Or splitting it up into a couple of smaller boxes?

No me neither - the nearest Pelican case is the 1490 model, which is 19.87" x 13.93" x 4.68"

What about putting something rigid inside the floppy case ? A lot of the hard cases that come with telescopic rods are just thin perspex sheets glued against fabric.

Visit a larger tackle store! You wouldn't believe how many different boxes with dividers you can get. Here in Holland we get a lot of Plano and Flambeau boxes, and national brands who make rip-offs. Here's some info:

You only really need to protect the rod, how about a length of drain pipe or similar to cover it?
The reel can be kept seperate in a pouch.

I use a length of white plumbing pipe for my hand drill kit - the sort that's about inch and a half diameter or so
Cheap and easy to get

Might be worth a thought?
