Hello

My name is Toby Rhodes from The Wizards Network. We are a corporate training and events organisation, that is based on a collaborative network of over 450 independent specialists in all sorts of disciplines. We use indoor and outdoor experiential learning in almost all of our programmes. for more background on The Wizards Network, please see our website: www.thewizardsnetwork.com

We are looking to collaborate with a bushcraft instructor (or school) to develop more outdoor-based team and individual development programmes. In particular, we have an opportunity that has arisien to prototype such a programme with one of our clients. We have already run a small number of bushcraft programmes with an experienced instructor, but, unfortunately, he can no longer work with us due to taking up a full time teaching position. Consequently, we are looking for an instructor to work with us with a group of about 12 clients on Wednesday 26th May, at Ashorne Hill (the ex-British Steel training venue) near Leamington Spa. We want to work with a bushcraft instructor to design a "Bushcraft Trail" - a series of activities during the day, which will also allow some time for review and reflection on their working processes, and the links that they can make to their workplace. We envisage working collaboratively with the bushcraft instructor, on both the design and delivery of the event. in particular, we will be looking to "facilitate" the discussions relating to the clients workplace and working processes, but would welcome input on this aspect if the instructor feels capable and confident to deal with these aspects (in other words, we are looking primarily for someone who is pasionate about the outdoors, a talented and engaging instructor, and someone with a good sense of humour).

We have a budget of up £250, plus travelling expenses. You would need to provide any specialist equipment needed, and to hold public liability insurance.

Is there anyone out there in this Bushcraft community who can help us, or can you recommend someone or put us in touch with someone who might be able to help us please. I am based in Sheffield, and willing to meet up with you to discuss this project (and potentially others too) in the next couple of weeks.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Toby

Thanks Geoffrey

I had already sent your friend Dave an e-mail (I tracked him down through the link to his website). I hope to speak with him soon.

Hi Stuart

Thanks for your suggestion. I have already done this and contacted a few of them, but will try some more tomorrow.

By the way, I found this to be a really useful, informative (and user friendly) website.

Toby :)
