Hi,

My name is Claudia and I live in Midlothian (Scotland), after lurking the forum for some weeks I finally decided to join it to connect with other people.
My passion for birdwatching has sparked an interest in foraging and bushcraft, which I consider a great way to deepen my connection with nature, but I would say I am pretty much a newbie and am trying to familiarise with the most common plant species in my local woodlands - some months ago I joined a wildfoodsuk foraging outing and that has made me even more convinced I want to learn more about the natural world surrounding me.

Welcome claudia, The four main foragebles are both abundant and easy. Docks, nettles, plantains and dandylions. Dandy lion comes from the french, dent de lion, teeth of the lion. Enjoy your time here you will learn lots. dale x
