Hello all,

I found this website whilst looking into how to sell some knives. I was on a forum about 10 years ago (sure it was British Blades?).
Any way, I've been having a general tidy up/clear out recently and thought it was time to move some knives on. I'm not sure what to ask for them. I'm assuming it's ok to send them via Royal Mail as long as they're properly packed? Any advice is welcome. Anything else I need to consider?

I'll only sell those I know I won't use. But will still regret no doubt!

It's funny I've got quite a few knives, some expensive. My go to knife at home is a trusty Mora heavy duty companion. it's brilliant. I bought a couple more Moras for camping last year (forget the model but they were about £7 each). These were arguably better still, especially for camping. Not as thick as the companion so better for food prep but still more than man enough for prepping kindling for the Kelly Kettle:)

Looking at this forum reminds me of how I felt years ago when searching the classifieds for the latest knife I was after. I best watch I don't end up buying more!

And

Whether you can send via Royal Mail will depend on what the knife is and how you can describe it. For instance, “kitchen” or “bushcraft” okay, “hunting” or “Bowie” not okay. See latter part of this thread.

Thank you. I've found the postage service. Am I right in saying most knives sold are described as a bushcraft style knife?

I was going to ask if all members are 18+ but I've just checked and you also need to be 18 to have a Paypal account. So another check to ensure the buyer is over 18. I'm probably over thinking it.
