Hi All, im a ex-pat yorkshireman who has lived in NZ for the last 10 years. I was pointed to this forum from BB!, looking forward to learning more skills and practicing them whilst traveling round NZ for summer hols in my VW kombi.

You live in a terrific place for bushcraft. The South Island is such a beautiful place! Some of my favorite "bushcrafty" experiences occurred on multi-day treks (Routeburn Track) and a multi-day sea kayak (Abel Tasman).
