Hello all, and thanks for having me on this forum! I came here by a round a bout way, I got involved with a local medieval living history group, and started shooting target archery with them, which got me interested in bow making, then hand tools, then period ways of doing things. One thing lead to another, and the next thing I know, I'm tinkering with a pole lathe, dabbling in making my own woodworking tools, and generally trying to learn how to do things without an electrical outlet near by. Anyway, the best way to learn is by doing, and by learning from those who already know how, and so, here I am!
