Hello. I'm Ricardo. I'm a South African living in Dublin, ROI. I grew up camping and fishing in South Africa and took up an interest in bushcraft just before moving to Ireland around 2 years ago. Now that we're starting to settle down I'm trying to get out again and enjoy nature. Camping and fishing have always been a mental reset for me to help deal with stress... so I really need to get out now.
I guess being unfamiliar with the landscape and the rainer colder weather has made me reluctant to get out earlier... but I'm here to learn as much as possible by reading and maybe ask a few questions along the way.
