Hi, I'm Aaron and I'm based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Been reading the forum for ages so thought it was about time that I joined up.
I like to spend as much of my spare time as possible outside, preferably in the woods or by the coast. My main outdoor hobby is photography though I do a bit of fishing and the odd bit of camping. Mainly getting into bushcraft as my son is showing an interest in the outdoors and I thought it would give us a good way of spending more time together and to give the missus a break! haha.
Very much enjoy reading about foraging and anything by Mors Kochanski. I like making things for myself if possible so I've also been making some catapults from natural forks which have turned out really well. Also trying penny stoves, wood gasifiers etc. etc.
