Heinnies blade blanks...any good?

Was looking on heinnies and saw these blanks, they look similar to knives I've seen made up before and was just wondering if anyone had any practical experience with them, for all they cost they're bound to be worth a shot!!

have had a few my way, if you've ever inspected the edge on a cheap kitchen knife after trying to sharpen? you'll get the idea, these are no different

I'd ignore them. Unspecified stainless steel and no detail on provenance, hardening etc.

There are plenty of makers here who make and sell bare blades. They'll cost more, but you'll end up with a knife that you can be proud of and trust.
