SOG folding saw £13. Anyone ever used one?

Looks like a nice piece of kit but a bit reluctant to spend on one when I'm happy with my Laplander. Also, just a pull cut, whereas the laplander cuts on both strokes. Anyone have any experience?

Never used one, but if I was in the market for such a saw I might try one just to see how it compares. As I have several already (mostly cheap but very competent things e.g. from Aldi) I can't see me buying one of these -- even at the discounted price, which is still more than four times what the Aldi ones cost.

I do have a few other SOG tools, my first decent knife was a SOG so I have a bit of a soft spot for the name. They've been generally good quality even if the design is perhaps sometimes a bit dated and to be honest lacking in some areas. The most action my SOG ToolClip sees nowadays is getting a reluctant stopper out of a hot water bottle and even that risks pinched fingers...

CHeers for the feedback, I've had good stuff from SOG before too, only knives though.

It looks a handy thing, I wonder if replacement blades could be tricky to source?
