Had a bit of time on my hands this Am so decided to make a spoon for myself, small enough to eat from but long enough to stir my tallest camping pot, and of course long enough to reach into anyone else's bowl who isn't paying attention...
i made it from a scrap of hawthorn ex a broken walking stick and for once I didn't make it overly delicate, the handle is supposed to be quite chunky. 11 inches long and I will stick a hole through the handle and a spit ring so I can hang it up. The wood had a kink in the grain I followed.
