I thought reading the title it was an indictment on how Ebay works nowsadays,

There was a time about 12 years ago when it was a market place for an honest trader to make some money, but now the odds have been changed from what I've seen. I feel sorry for the true craftsmen, some of whom post here, that have to endure the trading environment Ebay has developed into. They deserve better, and other trading sites such as Etsy are not much better.

Yep, the ebay is technically working fine here, if you ignore the rules that skew the trader against the consumer, unfairly in my opinion. Best bit, the traders have to pay handsomely for this skewed system.
