Good call, thanks. I haven't got up for the sunrise for many years now. The last Stonehenge festival in 1984 was memorable

Forecast to be a barn-burning 14C tomorrow. I'll trade you for some heat.
Is the heat normal or is this some freak spell?

Mountain ranges both east and west of the house cut an hour off each end of my day.
Very long twilights now. Light out by 4AM. Too dark to read outside by 10PM.

Dec. solstice and the sun went behind the west range at 1:52PM. Sun on the house about 9:30AM.

Stone's throw away from Stonehenge , and the sweltering heat continues today.

@ Robson Valley:The heat is normal as it is summer already ...but it's a particularly hot year.

The folk getting to and from Stonehenge are looking pretty subdued already...


The Mercian regiment is tabbing light today , the firing ranges are empty and the tanks have gone quiet ...
Maybe we can all have a day off today .
