I had a go at turning some wooden eggs on my pole lathe.


But I had to make things complicated for myself, by making hollow eggs. Now I have come to realise the limitations of work holding on the pole lathe, and have serious envy of the power lathe crowd, with their many and varied chucks and other work holding methods. Still, I am reasonably pleased with how they turned out in the end.
