Hello everyone,
We all know leaving your axe unattended is asking for troubles, so it is much safer to hang it on a tree, under your tarp, rig line, in the house/ loof, Behind a door in the shed, as leaving your axe in a stump for a long time can damaged the steel.
So i have come up with a very simple effective way of hanging one axe in the woods.
Lanyard with 3 chinese knots. the fiest two is fixed and the middle one is a toggle wich rocks back and forth. and ii is much safer for packing your axe into your Rucksack, as it tends to rock a little bit when you are transporting the axe in the bag!
here are a few pictures.
I made just over one hour, using 550 black paracord.
Much more safer when transporting it in your rucksack, no rocking of the sheath!

Any constructive comments would be appreciated.
