Hi Folks
I've been having fun setting up my DD camping hammock, really enjoying it and working towards overnighting in it. It does seem to take me a while to find a hang that is comfortable to me though.
One thing I would like to try is using spreader bars on it instead of the usual "single point" method of attachment. Has anyone tried this or am I going down the wrong path with this idea?
Cheers
Phil

Hi Phil,

I swopped the standard straps on mine for whoopie slings and found it much quicker and easier to adjust so that I could get a comfortable hang without the fuss of tying and retying the straps loads of times.

For me the DD hammocks are most comfortable with a fairly flat lay, head end just slightly lower to avoid sliding down the hammock during the night !

Cheers, Paul
