I currently have a DD hammock quilt that I use with the under blanket which is good for much of the year.

Has anyone tried the new hammock quilt from DD with the hood?

Also having seen this design I am thinking of modding a down sleeping bag to be similar for winter use. I was thinking of taking the hood off previously and using it upside down but the slit up the back looks a better design.

Yes.....yes it is lol

Slightly more hassle than a traditional top quilt but it should work well enough.
Less easy to vent in warmer weather mind

The only real difference is there's no zip to mess around with

You can sit in the hammock then get in the bag like a backwards boiler suit
