1/4 mile from Bramley End.
I just discovered that a 'hammock' can mean a hammock which I use to camp in as well as 'a small natural hill' on which I sometimes camp!
Hammock as in hill is not a word I've heard before.
Anyway I suspect there are a fair few hammockateers © on the forum and whether a sub forum might be worth exploring with the site owner Tony bearing in mind half the kit referred to on the US site I frequent is hard or impossible to get here in the UK.
Any thoughts?

I know that here and in the US we use "Hummock" to mean a small hill but never "Hammock" is it a local meaning?

In this part of Florida a "hammock" is a small grove of trees, vegetation, or swamp. As in "I hunted squirrels in that oak hammock last week."
