Hi

I have been learking around your site and forums for about a month now and finally got round to joining up, let me start by saying how nice it is to find like minded people that love sleeping under the stars i have really enjoyed reading your posts.

im 31 and have been in to camping since i was about 13 tho i started sleeping in tents a few years before that. i was luckly enough to grow up in corrnwall so the wild life was easy to reach having open spaces all around me. i now live in london due to work but still get out in the wild as often as i can.

After many failed experditions and soaking wet nights i pritty much got a hang of how to take care of me self (tho constantly learning) and from time to time go off to dartmoor alone tho mostly travel with my mates who have the bug too. I travel light and strongly believe in leaving things as i found them.

I am relatively new here too and also went to the recent Moot in S Wales. It was a great experience and my son and I learnt loads of skills, information and techniques. The people on here are really helpful and like you stated, are like minded people who like to sleep under the stars!
