Just back from spending a couple of days in Sedbergh on the Cumbrian border. Not bushie in the main as it was SWMBO's birthday treat - nice B&B and future brownie points stored away However I did manage to fit a visit to this green wood working event at a local craft mill http://www.farfieldmill.org/index.php?id=howgill#c694
It's organised by the NW Coppice Association and is well worth a visit if you're in the area and it's running til the end of the month. There are some practical green woodwork workshops and activies for childerbeasts and a brilliant exhibition of green wood crafts with everything from spoons to beautiful handmade beds, some fantastic skills on show. Loads of ideas and inspiration and a chance to chat with other coppice workers/craftspeople.
Sedbergh and the surrounding Howgill fells are well worth a visit. Much quieter than the lakes, not sure about bushie camp potential as it's pretty rolling and open but the quiet nature of the fells would probably lend itself to wildcamps.
