Great nights sleep

Myself and a mate camped out in a lean too shelter we made last night we had a small fire going and as it was fairly warm I just had my sleeping bag on a bed of braken and I fell asleep listening to the deer out side the shelter and had the best sleep I have had all week.

I end up using earplugs in the forest. It's so damn noisy with all the hooting and wind and horses clopping by.

I'm waiting for my new hammock to arrive as bedrolls on the floor give me too much joint pain these days. It is getting a bit nippy, but I hope to get a good nights sleep or two in the woods before winter really kicks in.

My hammock arrived so I set it up under the house to check it out. Thought I might grab 40 winks and woke up over two hours later. Fantastic just waiting for a night where I can disappear into the woods.

I love my hammock, best night sleep I get. Not really done much in the cold though.
