I was under the impression that Bison Bushcraft, Woodlore, Light-my-fire, and possibly Woodland Organics (don't know, can't get on the site right now to check) all carried GB and hence the spare covers. If not having them in stock, at least being able to get them.

Have a go at dropping any one of them a line, see if they can help.

PS. Those companies are just the ones that came to mind, I am sure that anywhere that sells the axes can get the covers.

Cremated - eh? I am sure you are not the first (or the last).

What model do you need the replacement for?
How long ago did you buy it?

I tend to send people direct to GB, as they are very helpful when customers have problems with new ones. They tend to just send one out FOC.

Dont know how they deal with people who have had an incident with it after a while

PM me and I will try and sort something out for you. I am sure I will be able to get something sorted.

Mine had a massive hack in it when I got it new from www.raymears.com ... not anywhere important so I didn't make a fuss but nonetheless, I might try blagging another.

I have been the proud owner of a SFA for the last four months, when the head worked loose, before I started knocking another wedge in I thought I would email Granfors for some advice, they asked me to confirm the registration of the axe with them by giving my address, which I done, four days later a courier knocked on my door with a replacement SFA with their complements, direct from Sweden.

540/10 for service.

Show me a British company that would do that!!!!!
