I own a Gottschalk tent which I have inherited from my Dad. My Dad bought this tent second hand in the very early 60s in Germany. It was only a year or two old. I've given it an airing last summer and treated it with some water-proofing products.
Great tent, but I don't know anything about Gottschalk tents. Please post it here if you manage to find out.

I rescued a Gottschalk canvas frame tent from an RAF buddy 26yrs ago. 1st tent he remembers camping in with his family in Germany in the very early 60s.
Used it last weekend in torrential rain
.perfect, I've never reproofed it and bit has a couple of minor seeps on the seam where the pic roof meets the sides, at the back. Photos available as I have it up for cleaning and drying, pm me
