Hi all,
Have been into the outdoor life for many years now, i suppose it all started with having a massive overgrown back garden and as a child making shelters out of sticks and naughtily stealing a few matches to have a fire(and yes i did get caught by my mum and my backside was sore for a week.) then as i got older sleeping rough in the woods with mates at weekends in shelters made from pieces of plastic.Then comes Les Hiddins,i thought this guy was great and was glued to every episode.Then it all subsided until my interest was re-ignited when Ray Mears came on the Tv.I live a few miles from the staffordshire moorlands and have been blessed with some of the most beautiful countryside around.I don't get out as much as i would like to but my interest has been wetted again.I am into photography and also build scale Rc 4x4s. I have browsed the website and a big thumbs up from me, now i feel a weekend under the stars is needed.I look forward to reading more members posts and hope to add some of my own.
