Goloks of Bark River or Valiant variety are convex ground so you'll need a drywall sanding pad and emery paper. The Martindale is sharpenable with files and stones.
So which one do you have?

Nothing as fine as the one's stated, Just the standard British Army issue.

Any thoughts?

Mark the old British Army Issue ones were made by Martindale, files and stones will do the Job
