glue for boot soles

I'd second stormsure or try Aquasure. I have repaired boots on my dry suit with both of these before and whilst I don't walk very far in it, I do a lot of finning submerged and both glues have held the repair watertight and airtight.

Clean out the soles, scratch the surface so its clean and then use Evostick, solvent based, impact adhesive. Allow to dry then put the sole surfaces together and hammer them. Thats what the 'old skool' snobs (shoe repairers) do.

Stormsure is waterproof,but i've not used it on boots.

Whatever you use needs to be able to flex and expand due to heat and use that's a major consideration.
