German Bear

I heard on the radio this morning that the first wild bear for a lot of years has been seen in germany. Woohoo, wildlife is regaining some kind of a hold on civilised surroundings! Not entirely woohoo though because I then heard that the bear was being hunted down and shot.Darn. :aargh4:

havent read up on it yet but I head a similar thing, first wild bear in over 200 years and because it killed some livestock they're hunting it down.

I heard on the BBC that it has had enough of Germany (most likely heard the world cup was coming) and has gone back home across the border.

The hunt is on. Fortunately they are not intending to kill him

They have tried and failed so far to kill the bear. Glad they are now trying to capture it instead. We need more large carnivores not less. Sheep are not an endangered speices.
