gel candles

was given a couple of these today.

Now, I like candles, but gel candles somehow offend my asthetic sense.

however, I can see a good future for the gel as firestarter.

or are there better things to do with the nasty sticky goo?

Be careful with them Tengu if you`re gonna use them for firestarters, I`ve heard they can be difficult to put out as the gel tends to spread rather than be extiguished, especially with water.

There should be some good potential for fire starting though like you say as long as it`s controlled.
