If it's more than just the edge (you said you thought it was the entire axe head) you probably won't be able to correct it anyway. If it doesn't affect function and doesn't bother you gresatly then it would be best to simply ignore it. On the other hand if it does bother you, just trade it.

I have a couple of tommahawks and one of them has a similar defect; only it has an s curve rather than the simple curve your axe does. It doesn't affect the function at all and to my tatses, it actually gives it some charecter.

I would try to just slowly compensate for it with sharpening.

Do the bulk of your sharpening at each of the arrows, with only a little bit on the opposite side to remove the wire edge, etc. Obviously not just at the arrows but extending up and down at each a bit!

As Stew says, and it looks like it needs a bit of a sharpen anyway. If you were going to use it for any short of carving or hewing and you were left handed the curve could be seen as an advantage. Not so good if you are right handed.
