Ok the wife has said on no account am I allowed to hit a sharp object with another sharp object with the use of a blunt object...

I have said that I will wear my full chainsaw gear to this, still not happy so will do it when she out... :)
What the eye dont see - the heart dont grieve over!
My wife has no idea of sharps safety (always cutting herself when getting food prepared) so trusts my judgement as I hardly ever cut myself:)

I tried a bit on scrap bone - I have a lot of practice to get in before I try it on a finished piece....
