A couple of interesting choppers for sale.
1. Vintage Opinel Herb Chopper.Looks about 100 years old. Nice original wooden handle. Will look great in the pre or Victorian style kitchens. Or if collecting these are your hobbies, it looks an interesting item. The blade is needing good sharpening, if going to be put to use. It looks as if it had not been used for some long years.
Blade is stamped "OPINEL".

2. Monster Elwell Butcher's Cleaver or Chopper. It is stamped on the blade as ELWELL /l\ 1943. This one has NEVER been used, I was told by the original owner. It had been stored in the shed for almost 70 years covered in WAX, when I got it.
I cleaned it up with WD40. It weighs 4.2 kg unpacked. Spine of the blade is 10mm max.. tapering to 5mm. A rare & interesting item.
