Haven't been able to get out for a few months, thanks to a dodgy knee (which is why I have been posting more lately - living my bushcrafty life vicariously - and getting more into crafts.) Had the op and now the Doc says it's OK to get out again, so my first stroll was with my camera yesterday morning in a small wood and along the Cotswold escarpment:

Got to try out the new macro lens:

I think these may work better in monochrome:

Only spent about three hours before the cold got through to me and my fingers couldn't work the camera anymore, but great to be back in a pair of boots!
