Frost Mora

Has anybody re handled one of these ????

I assume the plastic handle is one of the main resons people think of this a sa Cheap starter knife (apart from its cheap )

I've got one i'm planning to rehandle next week sometime. It's an excellent blade but i'm just not too keen on the plastic handle, makes it feel cheap. But with a nice wooden handle and the leather sheath I made last week I think it's gonna definatly become my favourite bushcraft knife

Might be a bit hard to rehandle. Only has a half-tang blade. I am happy wth my new shingfield blade

I rehandled one a while back. Just do a search for "rehandling" and "clipper" and you should be able to find the threads. There are two, the first one covering the removal of the plastic handle and the making of a handle which turned out rubbish, and the second was about making a second handle.
All in all, it's probably better just to buy a blade, though I think that I learned enough in the process to make it worthwhile

looks like the Mora has a bit more Tang than the Clipper

Its quite awkward to rehandle half tang blades like the mora's, especially to do a really good job...
