I've seen the double sided one cause more injuries than any other spoon knife! It also really limits how you can use it. If you are right handed then the single sided frosts is OK as a starter, but personally I would talk to one of the makers on here like Nic Westermann, FGYT or Dave Budd and get a decent one. Yes, they may be twice the price but they are worth every penny. I have done a write up in the current issue of the Bushcraft Magazine and there is a two page spread with seven different Makers on display :D
