Friendly - no politics - there's a link perhaps?

Can I just say that it's refreshing that an interest forum like this has a no politics rule? IMHO it makes this forum a friendlier place. Even when occasionally a thread skirts round a political topic's edges.

Sometimes it is difficult to avoiding a touch of politics, unfortunately.
Or writing something that can be perceived as political.

Yes, it is nice Politics is Haram. And even better, Religion too. ( I assume?)

I have lived and observed long enough time to see that the two subjects that cause the most discontent and unfriendliness are those two. In society, in 'interest clubs', at home, in social gathering places.
