Hi, i'm looking for some information on the fox mosquito net,


Does anyone own own one??

From the sales info on most websites i gather it attatches by clips, are these specific to the fox hammock? Will i be able to use one of these nets with my Nomad xl hammock?

Will i have to add tabs or velcro etc to make it compatable?

It sounds pretty straightforward going by the website, that i'l need to add loops. I was looking for personal experience with them, are they arkward?

The tarp attatchments should pose no problems as my tarp as its the fox version.

Should i just make a diy version?

I'd be tempted to run a second line above your Nomad and attach it to that

I use one with a Nomad. Its very straight forward. Either end of the hammock is thread through sleeves on the net, then there are three clips you can attach to a ridge line. Once in your hammock it is easy to reach underneath to fix the bottom straps. There are no mods necessary. I highly recommend it.

It wouldn't actually be connected to the tarp, tie a second ridgeline as it were under the tarp which is separate. I used to do the same thing when I had the Snugpak underblanket

The big question now is.. are they suitable for uk pests/midges???

A retailer seems to think not, can anyone confirm either way??
