Is it a copper one that is the same shape as a bottle of brandy, if it is they are usually called a bottle jack spit and the meat rotates under it?. Trying to get hold of one, they seem to go for about £60.00 ish depending on whether there is a key or not. Good on you

I saw the one Jamie Oliver had as well. I then saw one on ebay a few weeks later but forgot about it, and never bid on it. It went for around £36 and was in full working order. I was gutted at the time ! (at least 2 years ago). Good find Tengu !
