I thought of making a roll up tray with it but I dont think the slats are stiff enough.

Felting wool. Place bamboo on tarp (optional step), place wool on bamboo, wet with war soapy water, fold over some opf the bamboo, roll up (with tarp if you so choose), roll back and forth (add more water every now and then, this is where the plastic tarp comes in handy). Use for seats and so as is, or make a big piece and make a garment from it.

Drying/smoking racks? Even food prep/gathering with some basic mods...the slats look nicely squarely cut - there must be a myriad of things you can do with many squared bamboo slats.
