That looks amazing, total waste of bullets, can't even think about how much they all must have cost....
Ahhhh, endex gun line fun, demonstraights why good range markings are essential, should be recommended viewing for all who pass castle martin/lulworth ranges while the flags/lights are up/on.
About 5 years ago the 50 cal ammo was over $1 per round (probably double that now) and the Ma Deuce has a cyclic rate of 500 or so per minute; the electric gatlin I heard firing has a much, much faster rate of thousands per minute but it should be the 308 cal mini-gun (308 is over $1 per round now though) It cost far more for the ammo than it does to rent the gun.

They ran out of ammo...Or money...or both, I don't think it had anything to do with "skill at arms" in any shape or form, just boys with their toys and little range discipline
I couldn't see where they were actually shooting "at" anything. Just wasting rounds for the experience itself.
Dillon (of Dillon presses and reloading supplies) has a range in the desert southwest where they launch hang-glider sized darts to shoot down. I'd love to try that range if I could afford it.
