It was good to see them make it out of the group, I didn't give them much chance going into it.

They just seemed to lose the plot in the second half, giving them too much space on the ball and inviting them to attack too often, same old England

The pens were never going to be good, you've got to question the choice of takers though.

Roll on Brazil then, more anguish and media hype, same old England :)

Good effort & spirit, but technically lacking.

But, Look on the bright side, at least it means we wont get stuffed by the Germans now :)

At least the Brits put up a fight & actually played .....unlike the Frenchies who just wandered gormlessly around the pitch (as usual)......couldn't even be bothered to sign autographs for the supporters......
That's what happens when you overpay a youth for kicking a football around then tell him he's a genius for doing so..

pretty good england performance to be honest with a new manager who only had about 10 minutes to prepare for the tournament. a lot of positives to be taken out of it, although definitely some areas to work on (ashley young needs to be shown what his defensive responsibilities are; if ashley cole wasn't the best left back in the world and able to cover for him we'd have conceded a lot more)
