I have one of Darrel Aune's Skeletal Dragon's & you can't help but start fire with one of these .
It's like a volcanoe when you strike it , I've never failed to get a fire going using it.

I have a couple of Darrel's as well and thay are great. I'm really taken with some of Mikes though and I feel that a bit of a collection is about to begin. Flint and steel is my favourite way of starting a fire. Poor technique with the bow drill means that I'm completely knackered by the time I have an ember.

I am trying to resist, I already have an axe collection brewing, I am up to nine so far (four are Gransfors Bruks).

Mrs. Big Bad Stu is not chuffed about that, still she is letting me have a gun safe for all the sharps and the air rifle to be locked away.

A Finley as far as I know does not make the steels or fire pistons he sells, I make most of the steels on his site and a few of the pistons as well.
